Radio Cars are the quality taxi and private hire company in the Ripon and Harrogate areas.We use the latest technology in the whole process of booking a taxi or private hire, from the initial request by the customer to the data despatch of the taxi,  thus providing our customers with the most efficient and reliable service available. Our fleet is based in Ripon and Harrogate, Yorkshire, but will undertake work going to or from almost anywhere - prices on application

Our fleet consists of several different types of vehicle, ranging from wheelchair accessible to executive type private hire vehicles, ordinary saloon cars to London style black cab. All vehicles are fitted with taxi meters which are calibrated and checked to ensure that the cost per mile is standard throughout our fleet.Our hackney carriages work the main ranks in the city and can be hailed in the streets within the city boundaries. These vehicles are distinguishable by the lit for hire and top signs that are on them and they carry the Radio Cars logo. All of the taxis are licensed by Harrogate Council.  All taxi and private hire vehicles undergo a regular safety check which is carried out by the relevant council. All drivers undergo enhanced level Criminal Record Bureau checks, have regular medicals, and are tested as to their standard of driving and checks of their knowledge of the Harrogate, Ripon and Yorkshire areas.
